Senior Managing Director or Managing Director (MD)

Outline of Responsibilities

On a daily basis, the MD will be required to balance time and service commitments between engagement execution and new engagement development. The MD will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day service delivery to clients across a broad industry horizon. The MD will be expected to be deeply involved in the execution of the firm's engagements. Attributes of a successful MD are dedication to execution on a team basis while fostering creative thinking, individual initiative, acceptance of challenges, and dedication to excellent client service. The MD will report to the senior manager of the firm.
The MD must have the confidence and ability to communicate clearly and effectively via written and verbal communication. The MD's duties will be split between:
  • Transaction Execution - interacting with MASI's clients and their management to successfully accomplish the mission.
  • Business Development - participation in firm marketing programs and development of effective new client presentations.
  • Oversight of Engagement Teams' Financial Analysis - developing sophisticated financial models and modeling concepts, conducting in-depth industry and comparative research, and authoring detailed reports and documentation.

Years of Experience Required

10-15 years of work experiences with demonstrated responsibility for operations

Education Requirement

Undergraduate degree, advanced degree a plus but not required

Job Requirement Essential

A MASI MD will need to have demonstrated the desire and ability to work in a high-energy work situation. The MD will typically have had prior work experiences and responsibilities that have included management of companies or strategic business units with full profit and loss and balance sheet accountability.
Associate Managing Director (AMD)

Outline of Responsibilities

On a daily basis, the AMD will be actively and deeply involved in the execution of the firm's engagements. This will include providing key team member skills and services that will require creative thinking, individual initiative, accepting challenge, and dedication to excellent client service. The AMD will report to senior members of the firm and be integral to client execution.
The AMD must have the confidence and ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal communication. The AMD's duties will include:
  • Transaction Execution - interacting with MASI's clients and their management to successfully accomplish the mission.
  • Financial Analysis - developing sophisticated financial models and modeling concepts, conducting in-depth industry and comparative research, and authoring detailed reports and memorandum.
  • Business Development - participation in firm marketing programs and development of effective client presentations.

Years of Experience Required

4-6 years of work experiences with financial services or advisory services

Education Requirement

Undergraduate degree, advanced degree a plus but not required

Job Requirement Essential

A MASI AMD will need to have demonstrated the desire and ability to work in a high-energy work situation. An undergraduate degree in economics, finance, or accounting will be a plus. A work history that displays a willingness to work in a non-conventional way is a plus.
Research Analyst or Associate (RA)

Outline of Responsibilities

On a daily basis, the RA will be actively involved in the execution of each client engagement. Tasks will include providing as a team member creative thinking, individual initiative, and dedication to excellent client service. The RA will report to senior members of the engagement team and be integral to client execution.
The RA must have the confidence and ability to communicate clearly and effectively via written and verbal communication. The RA's duties will include:
  • Transaction Execution - interacting with MASI's clients and their management to successfully accomplish the mission.
  • Financial Analysis - developing sophisticated financial models and modeling concepts, conducting in-depth industry and comparative research, and authoring detailed reports and memorandum.

1-2 years of work experiences in challenging and demanding work environments
